The tragedy of Hecuba is one of the bleakest damas created by Euripides.  The play takes place in troy and journeys through the incredible loss experienced by Hecuba of her land and children.  Through it all she remains strong and steadfast in her leadership.

The mask designs in this set were recognized and awarded merit by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
