Old Man Mask
The Old Man half mask reflects the gentle yet mysterious man that begins James’s adventure. The mask is an inspiration and reflection of great age and wisdom, qualities of earth, a creature of the garden and the pit of a peach. This could have been the same guy who gave Jack all of those little beans that lead to the whole Giant thing. He’s a bit deceptive and not very clear about what he gives James:
James: What are they?
Old Man: Crocodile Tongues.
James: Tongues?
Old Man: Long slimy crocodile tongues boiled in the skull of a dead for 40 days and 40 nights. And, the gizzard of a pig, the fingers of a young monkey, the beak of a parrot and three spoonfuls of sugar, a then, let the moon do the rest.
The Old Man is a durable mask for performance a class room use. As with all of the masks it is held on with an adjustable strap.
