Odysseus Mask

The Greek Theatre Mask of Odysseus from Hecuba is described as the following:

Odysseus appears, as often in Athenian tragedy, not as the (likable?) epic hero, but as the “political man,” a self-proclaimed instrument of the Greek army and servant of its interests. He gives political (a Greek would say “sophistic,” we might say “cynical”) reasons for refusing to yield to Hecuba’s pleas, and her reminder that he owes her a favor.

Images: He wants to “be remembered forever”, so he does not want to make the people angry, even if it means going against what he believes in. Might this mask be more of a classic Greek image of Odysseus? Strong, proud, hair crafted in to the mask….

This Greek Theatre mask is made of neoprene and has an adjustable strap.
