This full face character mask is a living form that has at its base pride, envy and fear. Life is a pragmatic problem to solve. Yet it is filled with so many problems and challenges. Fleeting moments of joy inspire this mask to keep on keepin on. One might find it in the garden, on a mountain side or on a scaffold at the side of a skyscraper working away.
The masks in the studio start as a series of images, get sculpted in clay, cast in plaster and then created as a mask from the plaster mold. Once cured, they are trimmed, sanded, painted strapped, padded at the back and placed in inventory awaiting shipment to someplace in the world where they can created poetic moments of humanity for others
